The effective date of these terms is 10/22/2024, and with the publication of a new version, all previous versions become invalid. Webstore Software

Shopify
Our online store is developed with software from Shopify. The personal data you provide to us for our services is shared with this party. Shopify has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support, but they will never use your data for any other purpose. Based on the agreement we have with them, Shopify is obligated to take appropriate security measures, including SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Shopify is a certified processor of credit card data. Shopify uses cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software, but no personal data is collected or stored. Shopify reserves the right to share collected data within its own group to further improve its services. Shopify complies with legal data retention periods for personal data. The EU/US Privacy Shield applies, meaning your data may be processed in the United States.

Web Hosting

One.com
We use web hosting and email services from One.com. One.com processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party may collect metadata about the use of the services. These are not personal data. One.com has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. One.com is bound by a confidentiality agreement under the contract.

Email and Mailing Lists

One.com
We use One.com's services for our regular business email traffic. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss, and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. One.com does not have access to our mailbox, and we handle all email traffic confidentially.

Payment Processors

Klarna
For handling a part of the payments in our web store, we use the platform of Klarna. Klarna processes your name, address, and residence details, as well as your payment information, such as your bank account or credit card number. Klarna has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Klarna reserves the right to use your data to improve its services and, in this context, share (anonymized) data with third parties. In the event of a deferred payment request (credit facility), Klarna shares personal data and information about your financial situation with credit rating agencies. All safeguards regarding the protection of your personal data mentioned above apply to the services Klarna uses third parties for. Klarna does not retain your data longer than legally permitted.

We collect reviews via the WebwinkelKeur platform. If you leave a review via WebwinkelKeur, you are required to provide your name and email address. WebwinkelKeur shares this data with us so that we can link the review to your order. In some cases, WebwinkelKeur may contact you to provide clarification on your review. Shipping and Logistics

DHL
If you place an order with us, it is our task to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of DHL to carry out the deliveries. For this, we must share your name, address, and residence details with DHL. DHL uses this data solely for executing the agreement. If DHL engages subcontractors, DHL will also provide your data to these parties.

Invoicing and Accounting

Microsoft
We use Microsoft services to manage our administration and accounting. We share your name, address, and details about your order with Microsoft. This data is used to create sales invoices. Your personal data is transmitted and stored securely. Microsoft is bound to confidentiality and will handle your data confidentially. Microsoft will not use your personal data for purposes other than those described above.

General Purpose of Data Processing
We use your data solely for the purpose of providing our services. This means that the purpose of processing is always directly related to the order you provide. We do not use your data for targeted marketing. If you share data with us and we use this data to contact you later, other than at your request, we will explicitly ask for your consent. Retention Periods
We retain your data as long as you remain a client of ours. This means that we keep your client profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. When you notify us of this, we will also interpret it as a request to forget your data. This means we will not retain your data longer than two years from the last contact or transaction unless a legal justification applies.

Due to applicable administrative obligations, we must retain invoices containing your personal data, so we will keep this data for the applicable period. Employees, however, no longer have access to your client profile and documents created in response to your order.

Your Rights
Under applicable Dutch and European law, you have certain rights regarding the personal data processed by us or on our behalf. We explain below what these rights are and how you can invoke them.

In principle, to prevent misuse, we will only send copies and transcripts of your data to your already-known email address. If you wish to receive the data at another email address or by mail, we will ask you to provide proof of identity. We keep a record of handled requests, and in the case of a request to forget data, we administer anonymized data. You will receive all copies and transcripts of data in a machine-readable format that we use in our systems. You always have the right to have the data we (or third parties) process, which relate to you or can be traced back to you, corrected. You can submit such a request to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send a confirmation to your registered email address stating that the data has been corrected.

Right to Restrict Processing
You always have the right to request that the processing of data related to you, or traceable to you, be restricted. You can make such a request to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send a confirmation to your registered email address stating that your data will no longer be processed until you lift the restriction.

Right to Data Portability
You always have the right to have the data we (or third parties) process, which relate to you or can be traced back to you, transferred to another party. You can make such a request to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send copies of all the data we have processed about you, or processed by other processors on our behalf, to your registered email address. In such cases, we may no longer be able to continue our services, as a secure connection of data files can no longer be guaranteed.

Right to Object and Other Rights
In certain cases, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of Huma Official. If you object, we will immediately cease data processing while awaiting the handling of your objection. If your objection is valid, we will provide copies of the data we (or third parties) process and permanently cease the processing. Additionally, you have the right not to be subjected to automated individual decision-making or profiling. We do not process your data in such a way that this right applies.
